Gold Leaf Moulding

For this client, the designer specified a lot of mouldings and ornament finished in oil rubbed 23kt gold leaf. This is some of that work. All the mouldings were pre-cut and numbered so they could be installed after the finish was applied. The mouldings and ornament was installed on walls that were finished in a custom color of polished Italian plaster known as Veneciano with a rubbed wax finish. This project was done in the studio and on-site in Hunt Valley, Baltimore County, MD.
