Handpainted Vines with Fruit

Believe it or not, this area above the cabinets was the only wall space in this kitchen. The walls were textured plaster, and the client enjoyed her bright colored pottery in the display niches. The design solution was hand painting the vines weaving around the niches to connect them. The types of fruit were chosen for their color to match the existing pottery on display.
