Banded Wall Damask

In a large common dining room/living room with a half cathedral ceiling, the designer wanted a large overall pattern that would benefit both areas. The banded wall damask was the answer to this design problem. Repeating bands of a monochromatic gold were first applied, then a wall stencil pattern was applied in a pearl metallic. In the picture frame molding below the chair rail, the same pattern was used over one color from the banded pattern.
